Poet Denys Trussell reflects on the work of his friend, the artist Barry Lett, at Barry’s Pah Homestead 2017 exhibition ‘Barry Left: 40 Years’.

Barry Lett was a major influence on the art scene in NZ, both as a dealer gallery in the 70s and throughout his life as an artist.

In the 40 years Barry Lett has worked in New Zealand he has held over 30 solo exhibitions and participated in numerous group shows. His work can be found in public galleries and private collections throughout New Zealand.

Barry died in June 2017, at age 77.
